I went to six shows on Twin Atlantic’s American tour. I’m a big fan of Envy on the Coast, so that’s why I was at so many shows. At first, I had no clue who TA was but after the first show, I got their stuff. By the last show of the six, I really dug it. Their set list was short but they killed it every night. Old Grey Face and You’re Turning into John Wayne were my quick favorites. These guys definitely left a lasting impression on my and I cannot wait for them to return to the US to see them again.
Halfway through the first song I had to make a note I myself: Buy Twin Atlantic’s cd.
I became a fan of Twin Atlantic almost by accident in the middle of 2009. When I found out they were coming to Syracuse with Envy On The Coast I was so excited. It was akward being the only kid singing along to all their songs but I did and Sam enjoyed it both at the mini show and the real show in Syracuse. He was giving me thumbs up when i was singing to Ryan Hunter’s cover of ‘Human after All’ when their bassist’s rig broke down. Twin Atlantic put on a great performance that night to cement them as one of my favorite bands, and I hope to see them more in America!
Everything about the band is awesome. They’re music, they’re energy, they’re performance. I went to go watch Envy on the Coast but am glad I discovered TA. Can’t wait for them to come back to Montreal. Until then, I’ll just have they’re CD on repeat
I don't mean to sound like everyone else on here, but I originally went to the concert in Albany to see EOTC. No shame. But when twin atlantic came on, you couldn't really hear the vocals. (not their fault, I frequently attend concerts at valentines) I was digging the music anyways and how energetic the show was so afterwards I downloaded their music from Itunes. A week later, my friend convinced her friend to drive us 4 hours to the New Haven show based solely on the fact that I made them listen to to TA on repeat that whole week. and that show was the best concert I have attended, EVER, hands down. TA gets me so pumped and I can't wait to see them again!
